Frequently asked questions
Can I use any EAN number on my products?
No. EAN/GTIN numbers for products sold in shops must come from GS1 (in Germany: GS1 Germany). Made-up numbers can collide with existing products.
What is Code 128 for?
Code 128 encodes letters, digits and symbols compactly – common for shipping labels, inventory and internal IDs.
PNG or SVG?
SVG stays perfectly sharp at any size and is best for printing labels; PNG is fine for documents and screens.
