5 checks before you buy a Black Friday deal
1Check the renewal price
Big discounts usually apply to the first term only. Note what you will pay when the plan renews.
2Be careful with the longest plan
2–3-year plans show the biggest percentage off, but you are locked in. Only buy long if you already know the product.
3Look for the money-back window
Most good VPNs and antivirus suites offer 30 days or more – it lets you test a deal risk-free.
4Compare against free plans
For password managers, cloud storage and antivirus, a reputable free plan may be all you need.
5Buy from the official site
Avoid key resellers and unknown coupon pages; licences bought there can be revoked.
